A Bashir Bashir Tuesday

A few notes to myself and to others as well.

1.  Don't even name your kids with the same first and last name.  It is just plain dumb.

2.  When/if I am ever a teacher don't have 96 be the cut of for an A.  It is just plain dumb.

I am glad I got that out of the way.  I was nervous that I would name a child Bashir Bashir.

Well the day started out pretty normal.  I went to New Testament which was great.  Brother Huntsman told us a Christmas Eve tradition that his family has.  It is based on the song "What Shall We Give to the Babe in the Manger?"

What shall we give to the babe in the manger,
What shall we offer the child in the stall?
Incense and spices and gold we've a-plenty-
Are these the gifts for the king of us all?

What shall we give to the boy in the temple,
What shall we offer the man by the sea?
Palms at his feet and hosannas uprising;
Are these for him who will carry the tree?

What shall we give to the lamb who was offered,
Rising the third day and shedding his love?
Tears for his mercy we'll weep at the manger,
Bathing the infant come down from above.

Every Christmas Eve they give everyone in the family a picture of Mary or Joseph or Jesus and on the back of it they write what they will give Jesus for the coming year. I think it is a cute tradition. Also, I love hearing what people to for Christmas Eve because that is my favorite day of the year!

Then I went to ANE and it was fine. I struggled to pay attention but that happens.

Then I spent the rest of the day working on my final paper for Bashir Bashir's class. It was about the First and Second Intifada. All of a sudden the reason why Daniel was one of the last groups before they closed this program down makes sense. Wow, I actually learned something.

After dinner I had basketball practice for two hours. We better win our next game. It is going to be close. But luckily Adam sent me an email on how to be better with my attitude especially toward the ref. Don't worry, I am going to be the nicest player ever! Hooray!
