Run down of the day. I got on the bus and sat at the back because that is where my friends wanted to sit. I hadn't gotten car sick here yet and didn't think it would be a problem. I took my motion sickness pill before going and thought I would be fine. Little did I know that it was going to be a winding car ride. After a while, and after many unsuccessful attempts to fall asleep I realized that I couldn't stay at the back any longer. So I moved up and sat by Sister Ludlow. We talked the rest of the way there. She gave me food and medicine to help me feel better. My other friend got car sick and moved up front as well. She was even more sick than me and threw up. I tied her hair back while she was throwing up and then promptly sat back down and turned in the other direction--I didn't want to throw up too.
Talking to Sister Ludlow was so much fun. I learned a lot about her family. Her kids would need things and I would be able to pass things between the family. When we would get on the bus the Ludlow's would look around to make sure I was accounted for. It felt like I was part of a family for a little while. It wasn't my family, but none the less it felt much better than just being another student.
When we got to Eilat and I went out snorkeling I had a rough start. The mask kept sliding over my mouth and the salt water kept streaming in. It was not enjoyable and I was less than impressed. I was expecting a 10 (Eilat is supposed to be the 2nd bless place to snorkel in the world) and felt like it was a 4. The second time I went I kept my head under the water and focused on even breathing and it went much better. I was able to appreciate the experience much more. Now I would give it a 7. I think Finding Nemo has ruined me--I want it to be super bright and it isn't.
Here are some pictures of the day from others camera's.
I look lovely with my hair big and poofy! Surprisingly many people said I had such great natural hair. They seemed sincere but I just don't understand that at all. I look like a lion! :) Oh well!
On the way to dinner I sat by Sister Ludlow again and talked more. The majority of our conversation was on food. You cannot find cheddar cheese over here and she misses it a lot. Her father-in-law was going to bring some with him but they accidentally left it out of the suitcase. Way sad!
After dinner we switched up the seats so that the little kids could sit by their parents again. Andy and I sat by each other and slept for the majority of the way home. Then Ben came and woke us up and sat with us for a few minutes and then we talked the rest of the way home.
It was a long day but really fun! I am for sure glad that I went.

I don't know why, but I can't make the pictures big when I click on them. I just wanted to look at your beautiful hair. I'm sorry if we ruined you when you were little, telling you that you had a lion's mane for hair. I don't really think that you know. I like your natural hair too!
