Gobble Gobble

Well team I am headed to Turkey!  I am super excited!  I will update everything when I get back.
In the meantime here are a few fun updates.

I am the sunbeam teacher in the branch.  Talk about the best calling ever!!!  The member of the branch presidency even told me that he was jealous because he wants my calling.  Today I went to sunbeams and I had two cute kids, Isaac and Anika.  I was telling the story of Baby Jesus and told them that Jesus was wrapped in swaddling clothes.  Okay, I admit the term swaddling clothes probably wasn't the best choice because swaddling clothes is too big of a term.  But then Anika told me that I was wrong and that he wasn't wrapped in clothes but only had a circle piece of paper.  I was a little bit confused.  Oh well.  During sharingtime they both wanted to sit on my lap.  At one point Isaac was sitting on my lap and Anika looked over and said "I want to sit on your lap."  Isaac offered to share my lap with her so both of them were sitting on me.  Then Anika was squished so Isaac got off.  Really they are adorable kids and I am super excited for my calling.

Church was great today.  Anika's mom actually told a story about her during sacrament meeting.  Anika is enrolled in a preschool where they teach hebrew.   At the beginning of class each of the children draw a picture and later in the day they share it with everyone.  Anika drew a picture of baby Jesus...and shared it with all her Jewish classmates.  How ADORABLE!
