Vendors

Marhaba!  Today was a pretty usual day in the JC.  I went to class, headed out into the old city, and ate!  Really, what a great day still.  It was great to get out.  So for today's blog post I am going to tell you about my favorite vendors in the city.

1.  Shaaban (pronouced Sha bon).  Shaaban is every students favorite vendor.  When you go in his store he pours you a drink and makes you feel welcome.  He made all of the girl students a ring for free.  (These are the type of rings I learned to make the first day in my jewelry class in high school...but still pretty awesome guy.)  But most importantly Shaaban has fixed prices that are the lowest around.   Really everyone loves him.

2.  Imad (pronouced Ee-mah-d).  He is probably my favorite vendor.  I think I was one of the few people he welcomed into the shop the first day.  He told us to look around and that he trusts Mormons.  He also tells us that there is no pressure to buy and that he wants us to be at home.  I think I might like him more because I feel like I found him.  Everyone loves Shaaban, but not as many people love Imad.

3.  Aladdin (pronounced All-ah-deen).  Aladdin is the money changer.  He gives everyone a great price.  Today when I went into Aladdin's he said "To be Mormon is to be blessed by God!"  Isn't that awesome!

Those are my three favorites!  They are awesome!
